Description
This custom field plugin for Joomla and Virtuemart 2 can be used to sell virtual products on your Virtuemart sites. We developed it for use on our own site. It includes the following useful features:-
- Downloads can be restricted either by number of downloads or time period - or both;
- Download entitlements can be edited for individual customer orders, for example, you can increase the number of downloads a particular customer is entitled to;
- Download restrictions are applied to the custom field, not the downloaded file, so you can change the file, for example, if you want to release a new version;
- Download security, customers are not able to download anything they are not entitled to.

The plugin can also handle free downloads; although our free download plugin is a better solution, it has more features.
The plugin is implemented as a custom field, you simply create a custom field, attach it to your product, and set the parameters, including the download file.
