Panel Slider Module
Our Panel Slider Module displays your images in an attractive and unusual scrolling slideshow.
The display is customizable, you can fully set the dimensions of the display through the module parameters. Other options available include the panel colour (set through a handy colour picker), the panel opacity (set through a slider), the controller display, autostart options, and the duration of each slide.

The scroller responds to user actions: when the user hovers over an image the scrolling is temporarily suspended.
The slideshow can automatically integrate with our free Imgen component, to allow for dynamic resizing and watermarking of images, just select this option in the advanced options.
There are 3 versions of this module available:-
Panel Slider Module
The basic module requires no external extensions. Very easy to set up, you can upload your images using the Joomla uploader which is embedded in the module administration. Just add your images, captions and links as a series of slides and publish the module. You can have as many image slides as you want, and can easily add, delete or re-order them through the module admin. View an example of the administration here.
Panel Slider For Ignite
The same slideshow, but it displays images from your Ignite gallery or profile. You can choose a category display, or most viewed, most recent, or a random selection of images.

The rest of the display and advanced options are the same as for the basic version of the module.
Panel Slider For FW Gallery
The same slideshow, but it displays images from FW Gallery. You can choose a category, or mult-category display. The images can be ordered alphabetically by name, or by most viewed, least viewed, most recent, oldest, or a random selection of images.

Additional Information
This module uses the Mootools javascript library distributed with Joomla 1.6/1.7/2.5 - it does not use Flash or require any additional javascript libraries.
HTML5 Slideshow for Virtuemart 2
This is an example of our HTML5 Slideshow for Virtuemart 2.x and Joomla 2.5.x.
This versatile module can display images for your Virtuemart products in an attractive HTML5 slideshow. The module features a variety of transition effects: Grid, Bars, Blinds, Scale, Scale Rotate, Fade, Translate, Grow, Grayscale, Inverse, Pixelate, Threshold, Lower Threshold and Dissolve and Smear.
- The module is smart, it can find products with images automatically. You can just select a category, and it will find the products and the images in them;
- products without images will not be displayed in the slideshow;
- You can choose the number of articles, plus from a variety of orderings, top sales, most recently added, featured products, or random;
- Alternatively, you can select specific products only to display in the slideshow;
- The module can show images from a single product only - useful on the product details page for showing product additional images.
- The size of the slide image and thumbnails is fully customizable through the module parameters, so the module can work as a large central display, or a small feature;
- There is a large range of customizable features, including whether or not to display the thumbnails, the orientation of the thumbnails (horizontal or vertical), the type of scroller used (click or mouseover), plus whether to auto-start the show on page loading;
- The module is search engine friendly, because the caption content and the links are rendered on the page as ordinary html, the slideshow being constructed from this content, hence Google will have no problem crawling the article links.
- You can choose the amount of text to display in the caption;
- You can have as many instances of the slideshow module on the page as you want, with separate parameters for each.
- The module includes image handling functions. The images can be dynamically resized, with image caching and image compression supported for improved performance.
System Requirements
The module requires Joomla 2.5.x and Virtuemart 2.0.x. The transition effects also require a web browser that supports the canvas element, such as Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, or Chrome. Visitors who do not have a compatible browser will see the same slideshow but with a simple fade transition.
VM2 Product Snapshot
This content plugin for Joomla 2.5 and Virtuemart 2 allows you to embed Virtuemart product information directly into a Joomla article.
The plugin comes in two forms: a free non-commercial plugin and a 'pro' version with extra layouts, the ability to display additional images for the product, and a more sophisticated add to cart button. Both versions allow you to display a product thumbnail with a link to a lightbox full size image. The pro version supports a choice of lightboxes: the Joomla modal lightbox; slimbox and JCE mediabox. With the pro version you can also specify the image sizes as parameters rather than being limited to the default Virtuemart thumbnail sizes.
