Are you looking to integate the following into this product:

1. The user stays on your own site when they want to buy a product

2. a shopping cart - so that the user is only directed to amazon when it comes to paying for there items.

We will not be adding these features to the plugin. To do this sort of thing would require a complete Joomla component, it would not be possible with a simple content plugin. We have been looking into this, and in fact do have product in development which includes a complete shopping cart. However when this is eventually released it will be a separate extension to the AmazonWS plugin.

The thing about the Amazon WS plugin is it is designed to be relatively simple and easy way to incorporate Amazon products into a Joomla site, that does require restrictions on the features it can offer.

I would be interested in this product that you are currently developing as it sounds like it will be something that I will need. Have you got any idea when it will be released?

I would be happy to test it for you if you need help testing it.

It's likely to be a few months I think before it is available, we will probably invite existing customers to try an alpha release. But it is useful to know that there is some interest in this, it is a good incentive to continue working on it.
