Already have amazon aws account, so I know that works.

Installed this script into a brand new Joomla 1.7 site, enabled the plugin, entered correct aws details.

Result: No change to pages (original content)

Added a simple keyword (dvd) to one article, change plugin to 1 keyword

Result: A Blank page rendered page (single article)

Change to all pages, no change to articles

Simple question, has anybody got a proper guide to this plugin to work on joomla 1.7?

BTW, no error message from Amazon (error message enabled)

The plugin has been tested in Joomla 1.7, it definitely works. You need the latest version though (2.4.2)

You need both an Amazon developer account and an account for Amazon product advertising.

Only purchased this today, version given for download only at 2.4.0
Your own site only shows version up to 2.4.0

Am I right in assuming that this plugin will auto embed code rather than having to manually embed code into every single article?

Yes, you are correct you would only have version 2.4.0.

Version 2.4.2. was made ready for release, it includes compatibility with Joomla 1.7, somehow the actual business of making it available on the site was overlooked. My apologies for this.

I have uploaded it now. You can download it using your existing download link, just upload and install it as normal, no need to uninstall the old version.

Yes it will add the output to all articles in selected categories, there is no need for embedding code, you just need to add meta keywords.
