It is not possible to have a 'back to list button', that requires editing the article itself, and putting in a link back to the page the list is on, you will need to add that yourself.
If you don't want the list to be shown on the article page you need to set the 'Select a menu item' parameter in the right hand column. When the article link is click the modules will be loaded for the page that you select, if you select a menu item Featured Items Pro is not assigned to, it will not appear on the page.
