It's come to our attention the slideshow is blank when viewed with firefox 3.6.8 on windows xp and firefox 3.6.18 on mac os lion. Where the thumbnails would normally be shows plain text.
Is this the expect behavior for these earlier versions of firefox on these platforms?

It is not the expected behaviour, but the early versions of Firefox were quite buggy so it is not entirely surprising that you might have problems.

It sounds like a javascript error of some kind, but the error may not be in the slideshow script, it could be some other script on your page, often one script error will cause other scripts to stop running. Do you see any error message on the error console? If so, what?

Fortunately I think that the number of people who would be using Firefox 3 on those two operating systems is probably very low.

However I will check it out myself when I can, we do keep an old Windows XP with Firefox 3 for testing purposes.

We don't have version 3.6 of Firefox on Windows XP or Mac Lion, however I have just tested it in 3.0.3, the slideshow seems to work OK, so I think it should work in version 3.6.

Really you need to check the Firefox error console to see what is generating the errors, it could well be some other script entirely. Firefox is usually fairly informative about this.
