I'm using the featured items slideshow in joomla 1.7.3.

I've set up an instance of it with a vertical thumbnail scroller, but when I click any of the buttons, it does not scroll through the thumbnails. This problem only happens in chrome.

It works fine in IE and firefox.

Can you please verify this?

Hello, we don't find any problems with the slideshow in Chrome, it all works as it should. We do test it in all the major browsers.

Could it be that another script on your page is causing problems? Sometimes if a script is generating errors it will prevent other scripts from working.

I'm using version 2.1.1. I tried disabling all the modules and plugins and the scroller still didn't work in Chrome.

Then I tried disabling chrome extensions with success. It appears the extensions "adblock", "facebook disconnect" and "ghostery", all privacy related add-ons break the scrolling function in chrome.
