You need to set the login field type to 'username, email or enabled CMS authentication plugins' in your Community Builder configuration.
You also need to remember to enable the plugin.
You need to use the CB login module for login.
I can tell you that the plugin definitely will work with community builder 1.2 if you follow the above, I have tested it myself.
If you are using some other login system for CB that does not support CMS authentication plugins then it won't work. This is a non-commercial plugin and we can't guarantee that it will support any 3rd party extensions for CB. |

I am using CB 1.2.3 and I can't find a setting that allows the selection of 'Username, email or enabled CMS authentication plugins'.
I lloked in the cofiguration block and in the mod_cblogin
any idea? |

I must be blind, as after I posted the request to find the location of the item I found it under the general tab, sorry to waste your time

Go into community builder, click the configuration tab. Then make sure the 'general' tab is showing, look down to 'login field type' (it should be at the bottom of the tab).
Set this value to 'username, email or enabled CMS authentication plugins' |

It's no problem. There are a lot of options for community builder, it's easy to miss. |
