Hello everyone,

I'm trying to display 2 images inside of each article:
-1 For the item (photo)
-2 A special Read More image

The Read More image intends to link to the real article from the featured item.
(Not using Mighty Extensions)

The extra image is being ignored and not even showing up on the code view.

Any idea about how to solve this issue?

Not sure if this is the best way, but what I did was:

Under file helper.php
Comment out Line 454
$itemtext = preg_replace('/<img[^>]*>/i','',$itemtext); //remove image tags, because thumbnail will be generated.

Increased the i counter by 1 (as we had 2 repeated images)

$lists[$i+1]->imageTag = modFeaturedItemsCarouselContentHelper::getImageTag($params, $row, $lists[$i+1]->heading);

Under each Featured Article
Created a table to show the thumbnail on one side, the copy and read more graphic on the other side.

And later, created a new css rule for the table,

So, it's working... but any suggestion will be appreciated.

You should be able to create a read more image much more simply, just by putting the image code in the module 'Read More Text' parameter. This parameter will accept html tags, including an img tag.

I didn't know we could use html inside of the read me field. That's cool!

But, even with that... as I need the links to point to a different article, this couldn't work as the clients needs.

Or is there something that I'm missing?
