This is an extension for the Virtuemart e-commerce Joomla component. The Special Product Gallery is ideal for e-commerce stores selling products with a strong visual component, such as artwork. It creates a Flash image gallery using the images associated with the products in the Virtuemart catalogue. The gallery features a button link (with customizable text) to the Virtuemart product page.

The extension can function as a module or as a component. The products featured can be: products on special display, random products, top products, and recent products. The appearance can be customized, with either a horizontal or a vertical layout for the thumbnails, plus the background colour and style can be chosen, with a choice of either solid or a gradient background. There are also a variety of image transitions available, including: fade, rotate, photo flash, zoom, squeeze, random and none.
