Joomla 2.5.28
Virtuemart 2.0.26d
www.ktstore.it/it/?option=com_googlebase...=xml&id;=1〈=it-IT
hi i have a little probs, in my web site i have a long list of refurbish products divided in several categories
because we don't wanna put all the products in the google feed, we came to the ideato create a top level category (unpublished) to add all the products that have to go in the feed..
this works fine but unfortunately the category mapping doesn't work anymore..
do you have any ideas about a simple workaround ??
(apart then create a custom field for it)

You might be able to solve this using product overrides instead.
If you have only a few products that you doh't want to appear in the feed then you can create overrides for those products and unpublish them. Then you can go back to using the categories to determine the mapping.
If that is not practical then we could look at doing something that might help you for the next release, for example it might be possible to use a custom field to determine whether a product should be in the feed. I think that would be fairly straightforward to do. For example you could have a simple string field that when it is attached to a product means that it should be included in the feed.
