We have a new release of our module controller for Virtuemart, VM Modcontroller Pro. This module allows you to control the display of any other Joomla module on Virtuemart pages. It allows you to assign modules to Virtuemart pages (including specific flypages or browse pages), categories, and shopper groups.

For example, if you just want to show a module on the checkout page, or the main category browse pages, or for a particular category, or even to a particular shopper group, this module allows you to do this.

The new release, version 1.2.0, includes additional options to filter by manufacturer, to exclude specific categories, and to filter by SSL/non-SSL pages. Also for the first time we have a version of the module that is compatible with Virtuemart 2 and Joomla 2.5.

Existing customers who have bought the module in the last 12 months can update to the new version using their existing download id.

However if you have a previous version working well on your site you do not need to - we suggest studying the documentation first to see if you require the extra options. If you do not, then you do not have to upgrade.
