We have now released an updated version of our module controller for Virtuemart, VM ModController Pro.

This module allows you to control the display of other Joomla modules on Virtuemart pages. It allows you to assign modules to Virtuemart pages (including specific flypages or browse pages), categories, and shopper groups.

Version 1.0.1 of VM Modcontroller Pro now includes a fix for an issue that caused problems when more than one instance of the module was displayed on a page, plus a couple of other bug fixes.

Customers who have bought the old version of the module can download the new version using their old download id. After that, just upload and install it as normal using the Joomla installer.

One of the frustrating things about using Virtuemart is that it is not possible to assign modules to Virtuemart pages through the Joomla menu system. This module gives you the control that you need over the display of any Joomla module on Virtuemart pages.

It allows you to assign modules to Virtuemart pages (including specific flypages or browse pages), categories, and shopper groups. For example, if you just want to show a module on the checkout page, or the main category browse pages, or even to a particular shopper group, this module allows you to do this.

It is called 'Swift Gallery' for a reason - it is an ultra-fast way to create a really stylish looking Flash image gallery from any folder containing images.

You just upload your images to a folder of your choice. Then create a new menu item, and set the folder path as a parameter. The component can create captions automatically, using either Exif metadata, or the image filename.
