We have just installed the GooglebaseXML component and we are having some trouble trying to get links to show when the images are .png.



The url for JPG's gets pick up okay its only PNG extensions that don't seem to be pick up on.

I have looked into this, we don’t find any problems with links to png images on our test site.

Do you have access to your site database? If so please check the database table virtuemart_medias and look at the file_mimetype field for the images for which you are having problems. This should be set to the value image/png. It sounds to me that the most likely cause of your problem is that this field is not correctly set. The feed component checks the mime-type of files before including the link, it is the only way to determine if it is an image and not another type of file, so if the value is not correctly set then the link will not be picked up. To solve the problem you just need to edit the database values.
