Not sure why, but the phrases in the language file are not being called. For example, instead of "Email this page to a friend" the designation "EMAILTOFRIEND" is displayed as the link/header for the slider box. The same for all of the subsequent labels.

Are you using the latest version of the module? The latest release is 1.2.1, in earlier versions there was problem with the language files that could cause this problem. If you have an older version upgrading should solve the problem.

You can find out the version in the Joomla extensions manager.

I have version 1.2.0. I only just downloaded this on May 20. I just downloaded it again and it is still version 1.2.0. How do I get version 1.2.1?

It seems that version 1.2.1 had not been uploaded to this site.

If you download it again (you can use the same download link) you should get the new version.

This would not affet the slider function. The likely explanation for a problem with the slider is a javascript error. This would be caused by another extension on your page, a frequent problem is a script that uses JQuery without the noconflict function. If you want to tell me the URL of your site I can have a look, I may be able to tell you what the problem is, but I can't promise to solve it.
