Spiral Blog is a script that allows you to add blogging to your website without any HTML or other coding. You simply select your design from a variety of templates, then add your blogs through the layout editor. You can have as many blogs - and bloggers - as you want. Once you set up a blog, each blog user can log in using their own username and password, and add and edit their own blog entries.

A navigation menu is generated automatically. An image editor is also included, allowing each blogger to edit the size and compression of their images.As well as uploading images, bloggers can upload flash animations and other files such as MP3s and movies.

An RSS feed is automatically generated every time a blog is updated, allowing for easy syndication of blog content.

The script is easy to install, it comes with an installer, so no programming at all is required. Adding a custom design is easy, you just need to load an additional stylesheet. You can also upload your own banner image -you can download a free collection of banner images from this site.

The script is designed with security in mind, and includes secure login pages for administering the script online, and for user login, as well as spam filtering.

System Requirements

The script requires PHP 4.3 or above, plus a MySQL database, and 8MB of space on a web server. Your PHP installation must also include the GD graphics library in order for the image editing functions to work, though the rest of the script can work without it.
