GoogleBase Attributes was created by 4FootyFans
Hello

Is it possible to add the "expiration_date" attribute to my feeds?

If not via the component, by an edit.

I need to add a 2-day expiry date to my feeds.

TIA

Thanks for the question, actually I checked and it already does (almost).

You can set up a product override, and use the publish_down attribute.

The only issue is that I see that the feed for some reason is calling the attribute
g:expiry_date

instead of
g:expiration_date
which is the correct name.

I am not sure of the reason for this, it might be a mistake that no-one noticed until now, or it may be that Google changed the name of the attribute at some point.

Anyway if you are using the option to translate the tags, you can put this right just by creating a language override for the constant 'COM_GOOGLEBASEXML_TAGS_EXPIRY_DATE', if not then in the file models/googlebasexml.php you need to find the line 1682 and change it to
$tags->expiry_date = 'g:expiration_date';

We will make a new release soon with a fix for this anyway, probably within a couple of weeks.
