Googlebase XML problems was created by 4FootyFans

I'm a new user.

1) When I click on the Product Feed link I get the error in the attached image but the .txt file is produced.

Attachment GoogleBaseXML.jpg not found

2) When submitting to the United States the NET Product price should be the basis of the currency conversion to USD not the Gross price, which includes VAT. Customers in the United States, and any others outside the EU, do not get charged, nor pay, VAT.

the first problem looks like it is caused by your site template, it usually happens when someone has been hacking the site index.php file.

If you edit the site index.php file then any characters that are added to it will be output as part of the xml file, causing the error message you see. That file should neve be edited, all edits should be made to the template index.php.

Basically you have two choices, either clean up the site index.php file, or just use the txt file.

We are well aware that prices in the US should not include tax. The second problem looks like it is caused by a problem with your Virtuemart configuration. The GoogleBaseXML uses the same options as the Virtuemart configuration, if you have set up your site to display VAT in prices then these will be displayed in the product feed. The easiest thing is probably just to make sure you have set all VAT rates to zero.
